Hi, I am Mike.
I think of myself as a CG generalist, with working knowledge of modeling, animation, lighting, compositing, special effects, realtime graphics and programming. I do all my 3D work almost exclusively in Blender. I also do a bit of digital photography when I am not busy playing with computers.
I am currently working in Italy with a scientific visualization group who uses Blender for biomolecular visualizations. Before that, I worked on a marine ecosystem visualization project at the University of British Columbia in Canada for two years. As a visualization specialist, I work with a small team to tell a visual story of our fragile aquatic ecosystem. Dalai Felinto and I presented a small part of our work at the 2008 Blender Conference in Amsterdam.
